The current status I am classified as would be a girlfriend. Since I am a girlfriend, I of course have a boyfriend. He is nice, a little too nice, which is kind of creepy. He is a respectful young man and throughout the few years I have tried to find the “right” boyfriend, he actually showed me that not all guys are the same.

As I said that I haven’t been in the whole dating and relationship business for a long time, like my other peers that have since like the kindergarten. I just recently started about two years ago. You go through rough times and you get over it. At least that’s what you should do. Every time, after a break up you actually learn from your mistakes and become wiser. That is only if you mature yourself and clearly know what you want.

I want a boyfriend that will first be my friend. I want a boyfriend to not rush things into a relationship after the first week of knowing each other. I want a boyfriend that will get to know who I really am as a person. I want a boyfriend that knows my background as well as values and morals. I want a boyfriend that can be straight up. I want him to tell me how he really feels instead of things like “I’m cool”, “I’m okay” or “nothing”, which most guys usually say. I want a boyfriend that can tell me anything even if I don’t know how to help him in any of his problems that he might be going through, like in school or his family; it’s the thought that counts. I want a boyfriend that has at least a few minutes or hours of a day to talk to me. I want a boyfriend that can tell me about his childhood and not be embarrassed. I want a boyfriend to tell me about his life. I want a boyfriend that is patient and after a few months of knowing each other really well, he can finally ask me out to be his girlfriend.
