Three day diet analysis

My diet compared to the recommendations I received from the food guide pyramid is good but can use some improvements. According to the 2005 dietary guideline recommendations, my grain intake is 4.5 oz. which is average, the recommended intake is 6 oz. so it is a little low, my vegetable intake is 3.7 cups; the recommended intake is 2.5 cups so I am pretty good in the vegetable category. My fruit intake is low at 0 cups and the recommended intake is 2 cups per day but I can’t afford to buy fruit. My milk intake is 1.1 cups when it should be 3 cups, I can’t stand the taste of milk. My meat and bean intake is 8.3 oz. and the recommended intake is 5.5 oz. so I am good in that category.

The best way I can modify my diet is by changing what I am eating. I can add some whole grain bread to my diet as well as some whole grain cereal. I need to add at least 2 cups of fruit to my diet and 3 cups of milk. I hate the taste of milk so I will have to use either chocolate or strawberry syrup in my milk or eat more foods that contain milk.
