Patton-Fuller Community Hospital (Paper 2)
Patton-Fuller Community Hospital is full of technology and can be dissected or broken down in many different formats showing in detail how advanced or behind Patton-Fuller Community Hospital is. The networking department will be the focus and breaking the department down in three segments will install knowledge of Patton-Fuller Hospital intentions with Networking. The three segments are: Analysis of current network systems that are in use, Current network missing ingredients, and identifying the hospital’s wireless technology that is currently in use and providing information on how it enhances the network.
The overall prospective of Patton-Fuller Community Hospital network is that they use Local Area Network (LAN) as default within the hospital while other departments inside the hospital use a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) as default. Top view from an IT network perspective basically has the hospital divided into an Administrative Functions Areas and Clinical Areas. A 1000 BaseT Ethernet cabling is the structure for the entire Hospital.
