• Resource: Appendix A

• Review the CheckPoints and assignments you completed throughout the course.

• Create a 10- to 15-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation of information about your assigned company. You may use text, charts, tables, and visuals to detail the different areas of business found within your assigned company.

• Include information on the following topics:

• Business organization – Is the business a corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship, LLC, etc. Keep in mind some businesses may have started out as sole proprietorships or partnerships and then developed in to a corporation.

• Potential legal or ethical issues – What are some legal or ethical issues that might arise? What safeguards have been put in place to deal with them?

• Business culture – What is the culture of the business? What does the mission statement say? Expectations of the employees?

• Types of motivation – Reflect back on the motivation theories we covered in class. What theories have been implemented in the organization?

• Human resource management – Reflect back on week seven and the various aspects of HR that we discussed. What is your company’s approach to HR, hiring, employee development, etc.?

• Technology – What technological advancements does your company utilize and why?

• Operations and materials management – Refer to our discussions in week eight and your book materials for specific example
