Demonstrative communication is nonverbal, the use of body language, appearance, posture, facial expressions, eye contact and gestures. Non-verbal communication can be called the unspoken language and plays a significant role in our day-to-day life. The different types of communication are increasing daily by e-mails, mobile devices, and video conference. How we react to these changes will ensure effortlessness and eliminate the uncertainty in communication.

Effective listening is to recognize fallacies and understand the process. The listening process is complex but it is an important part of the communication process. Demonstrative communication can be complex, writing and speaking is visible. There are many people who do not have a willingness to improve their listening skills. It is a result of the inability to fully understand the process. Understanding how the process would allow us to better define it.

The process of using demonstrative communication is effective because verbal and non-verbal communications are connected. It offers a change to understand a world where you can define your relationships with others. One does not have to necessarily speak to let others know what they are thinking or feeling about something. Body language speaks volume. An example is if a person is in conversation in a meeting and fine themselves crossing the arms, it may make it seem that they are not open to the ideas being discussed. Facial expressions are also a giveaway, if the eyes are rolling and they are looking around other than the person who is speaking it is a sure sign that you are not interested, bored or the topic is not getting your attention.

Demonstrative communication is a method of communication that can be effective in certain settings. The flip side to demonstrative communication is the inability to get the point across. I believe that there are times when discussions should be had in order to determine if everyone is on the same page....
