The Human Resources Department is responsible for so much more then just the recruitment and hiring of new employees, the Human Resource department is trained to ensure that the business meets all federal and state laws regarding most issues that deal with employees. The Human Resources Department is there to help the other departments of the organization to make sure they are with in the guidelines of the organization and also all government laws are followed. Then there are times that the Human Resource Department has to get involved with disciplinary issues for the staff of the organization and termination of contacts that the organization may be involved with. The most important part of the Human Resource Department is to ensure all staff members are treated fairly and is in line with the company policies and governmental laws. The first thing a new company must do is planning the human resources department because they will be the ones to hire the new staff.
Human resources department will be the department that will develop the employee handbook this is the book that is given to every employee that is hired from the top executive to the lowest person on the totem pole, so there is no gray area, and everyone that is hired know what is expected of them. The human resource department will also be the one that develops the hiring standard for the company such as requirements for certain positions in which the company will have. The human resource department will also be in contact with each department head to have their input of how they would like the development of the human resource department. Another one of the main focuses of the Human Resource Department is the recruitment and hiring of new and future employees.
