My experience and impressions after the study trip to Hong Kong.

Well, where do I start here? To be honest, I am still so overwhelmed after the trip, that all my thoughts cannot be put in order, but I will do my best to describe how I feel, to share my experience and impressions. In three words – it was fantastic, absolutely amazing! And, actually, like I thought, real Hong Kong has exceeded all my expectations. This was an experience that would always stay with me.

I will start from the very beginning. When we arrived in Hong Kong airport, it seemed huge to me, walking from the plane to passport control took me forever, or maybe I was just too excited. At the passport control a very polite, nice man asked me about visa, and I explained that Ukrainians who stay in Hong Kong less than two weeks do not need visa. He agreed, put a stamp in my passport and here I am, officially in Hong Kong!

The first thing I have done was money exchange. Actually, that was also the first time I have seen HK dollars. I must admit I was very excited about 10 HK dollars bank note. It is plastic, you cannot tear it, and there is a small transparent circle with a flower on the left side of the bank note, and you can look through it. I just love it! I even brought it home as a souvenir. Then we took a taxi. Another interesting thing: depending on a part of HK where taxi goes, they have different colors of cars. Also taxi drivers can put as many bags in the trunk as you want, and there is nothing wrong if trunk cannot be closed, they have a rope for it!

The drive to our hotel was exciting. We were crossing a lot of huge bridges! The city really is surrounded by water. Actually, it is on the water. A lot of beautiful plants (flowers, trees, bushes), which are very different from what we have in Ukraine. And what is definitely very different is the number of skyscrapers!
