Jane Eyre is Charlotte • Bronte’s novel,which was publishing in 1847. In those days, the female to female writers as protagonist of the novel the more valuable are the works reflect the awareness of women's independence, while this independence in the powerful social values which seem a bit helpless even – in extreme cases — some sick.

Jane orphaned as a girl, was of a cold-hearted aunt, Mrs. Reed of gateshead hall's care. Mrs reed's husband, a brother of Jane's mother, instructs his wife on his deathbed to care as tenderly for Jane as for her own three children. but Mrs. reed, a somber and severe woman, ignores this request for the dependent situation, the ten miserable years. She pampers her own spoiled children and brings Jane up as littlebetterthana servant. One day, as a childish willfulness of Jane's, Mrs. Reed shut her into Mr. Reed room,where Mr.Reed died. The highly imaginative child falls into a faint and becomes very ill.Jane is sent to 50 miles Lowood school. Although the work of the school life is very austere, it is generally a after gateshead hall. It made her feel relief. Jane is befriended by a miss Temple and learns the lessons rapidly.

Jane became a teacher in that school, but at the age of 18, she left, becomes a governess in Thornfield Hall. At first she didn’t saw Adèle Varens’s guardian named Edward Rochester. The reply is from Alice Fairfax, the housekeeper of Thornfield Hall. , Alice Fairfax warned her not go to the third floor of a locked, the mystery of the room,it perplexed her. One day, Jane hears a shrill horrified, coming from the room. Fairfax pretends that is Grace Poole, a rather dumpy, unprepossessing servant.

One January afternoon, while out walking, Jane meets her employer, Mr. Rochester. Rochester has been thrown by his horse, his dog comes to Jane seeking help.
