For this project, I am going to describe each step by outlining the actions that I would take to identify customers in our dry cleaning establishment.

When customers come to dry clean their clothes, they first enter the store. Once they enter, there is a lady welcoming the customer with a smile and taking her to the reception hall, where she takes a seat and starts talking to the representative. The first step we use is the word “define”. The representative asks the customer’s name, address, home phone number and her email address, to include the actual customer’s identity. The second step is to collect the customer identities. The representative gathers all the customer details, like their credit card details, their facebook or twitter links, so that they could send marketing promotion through social networks. Dry cleaning company have many social networks, where many customers interact in that, many customers coming to our store start making friends, and people come together in a time, where they post in the wall saying they come at a certain time. We provide customers the best way to create friends through the social network. We also collect the customer vehicle no or any other numbers like the EZ pass. We collect all the customer data and the representative enters into an Icontact database. This is where each customer’s information that is collected is saved in this place. The third step is the word “link”. Once we collect the customer’s information and when we put them in the Icontact databse. We provide our customers with a card, where it is linked to all their transactions. They can go do different enterprise’s in different operating units and divisions. Once they scan the card, we can identify the customer in a second. Just with a scan of the card, we can pull all their details. Even after scanning the card, they have to tell their last four digits of their social security no and they have to show a picture I.D just to make sure, the name matches with...
