Due to a strange turn of events I was forced to make a decision that best suited the standing of our company while explaining the installation of energy panels in the best way possible to the Solar Energy Commission. I want to apologize in advance for the lack of quality shown in the installation film. Prior to filming, I discovered that my only Panatronic-880 digital camera had been confiscated from the company van. I contacted the Flatrock Police Dept. and in turn was directed to fill out an incident form. I realized that I needed to make a decision between filling out the police report or trying to find another video camera to proceed with the filming. At this time I chose to designate one of my crew members to fill out the incident report, so that I could have time to find and purchase another camera. I was confronted with two options: Purchase a multipurpose digital video camera immediately that would not capture every specific detail of the installation or drive 60 miles to purchase a new Panatronic-880 that would capture all details, thus missing the first 20 minutes of the installation.

I immediately gathered with my team to decide if we should go with quantity versus quality. In the time of the crisis I felt that the best decision to make would be purchasing the multipurpose camera and record all achievable footage. I believe that capturing 100% of the installation was more important than missing 1/3 of the installation. I would rather have the option to edit a complete video opposed to not having enough footage. While everything is explained in the video, if I would have chosen quality over quantity, there would be no explanation in the video or from our company....
