Kudler Foods

Kudler Foods is an upscale food store that was erected in 1998 by Kathy Kudler in San Diego who got the inspiration from a shopping trip experience and decided to give it a try. To date the company has a net sale of almost 11 million dollars. Kathy Kudler has a business oriented background in which she was the Vice- President of Marketing for a defense contractor. In turn the store gained profit after the first nine months of business and in 2000 the second store doors were open in Del Mar. A few years later in 2003 there was a third store to open in Encinitas. Currently the stores are 8000 square feet and reside in populated shopping centers. Each stores goal is to serve customers and provide a special experience for each customer and show why Kudler is the shopping center for each (University of Phoenix, 2007, 2010, 2011).

Kathy Kudler had a vision of providing a service including experience workers and team members, carefully selected produce and the luxury of gourmet scale food and spice selection. The stores carries a wide selection of bakery and pastry products, fresh produce, fresh meat and seafood, condiments and packaged foods and cheese and specialty dairy products.

Due to the success of the company there is a need to improve the HR system which can create a better complex and environment with the company. Integrating new tools into the HR system will be the main goal and progressing with the current system still in place will be part of the project also. Kudler Foods current HR system will be analyzed and integrating newer tools that are up to date for the Human Resource Information System which should be on a single integration application.

In turn the Service Request SR-rm-004 will be completed by explaining and describing the information gathering techniques and designing methods that one would propose to use for the project.
