This report is based on a case-study of a clothing company named ‘Jinnikins Jeans’. It gives an overview of the company. It throws light on different departments such as Human Resource and Information-Technology departments, specifying the problems they are going through. These problems are then solved by applying different models, definitions and theories connected to their category. The report ends with recommendations provided to overcome these problems.

Introduction:

Jinnikins Jeans is a clothing company established by two brothers, George and Trevor in the late 1980’s. Initially, as teenagers, their original business was selling highly fashionable items of girls’ clothing from market stall sites throughout London and then Birmingham. By the end of the 80’s their business was considered a model of youthful entrepreneurism.

In the 90’s this business of the brothers expanded by taking over existing textile businesses and converting factories to their own product. Their turnover is rated in the multi-millions. Their headquarters is located at Moseley, Birmingham, in which they have invested heavily.
