* General Internet Skills:

On this topic, I believe that I am highly skilled in this area. Prior to this course, I was in two online colleges. I have been taking online courses for about three years now. I have really always been kind of a computer geek. General internet skills are really a must have now days. The internet is one of the biggest and most technological inventions ever made. The internet skills that I have learned about in this course, I had previously learned in other courses in different schools. I had to also use the internet in my previous on-campus college before taking any online courses. The internet is full of very important information and resources that will be very beneficial in all my future courses as well as in my future career. My action plan for this topic is to always keep it in mind. The internet is here for our convenience and to improve our knowledge. So to keep using it and to keep updating my general skills as the internet is upgraded will keep me going strong. I just have to keep up with the times.

* Using UoP Educational Resources:

On this topic, I have used this resource in prior online colleges also. The tutorials are really helpful in showing you how to use it. The workshops and labs were also very helpful throughout this course and will be in future courses also. I honestly did not care too much for the audios because I am more of a visual type of person. I would rather read about it than hear about it. A couple of databases that I used in this course in the UoP library were EBSCOhost and Proquest. EBSCOhost provides access to several periodical indexes. These indexes contain citations, abstracts, and many full-text articles from magazines, journals, and newspapers.
