Analyzation of the most useful Project Management Tools in an International Environment (Nepal)
A Korean investor assigned me a project to build a HDB flat for 100 families in Kathmandu, Nepal. He signed a contract with the Nepal Department of Housing to implement the project. In the contract, there were some requirements.
They are,
1. The flat should be built in such a way that it meets or follow all the rules and regulations of the government policy of Nepal.
2. In order to make sure that the 100 families could afford and to make them live or stay longer in this Flat, the breadwinner of the family must be given some skills development training in small business development and small business start up to ensure that they will be able to afford the rentals, maintenance of the homes and to expand their homes in the future.
3. The project must be completed within 4 years.
Project Activity: Build HDB Flat for 100 families
Project Time: 4 years
Budget: 14 million US dollars
Project Requirements: Building a flat that meet the specifications in line with the Government Policy of Nepal, Training the Breadwinner of each family
Beneficiaries: 100 families
Stakeholders: Korean Investor and the Nepal Department of Housing

Therefore as a project manager, we have to make sure that the customer (the Korean Investor in this case) is satisfied that the work scope is completed in a quality manner, within budget and on time. The project manager especial international project manager who located in a more complex environment like for example in Nepal, must know how to use useful project management tools to ensure the project delivering on time every time.
