I think the documents I found on The Smoking Gun Web site should be made available to the public, because with the government controlling everything and keeping everything a secret I think the public should be able to know what it is going on behind the scenes especially after 9/11 in which I think the government knew the whole time we were going to get attacked.

I think the dangers would be releasing this information is people will try to learn how to make a new way to get around the law by basically looking at the information that is provided and take that and find a new way not to get their information link out. When you have censorship it does provide dangers like basically putting a whole nation down, uncovering important information about the enemy, and probably just putting yourself in a deeper hole.

The concerns about copycat crimes are raised by this information are in my mind is the person who goes out and try to make a name for their self going through the media attention. Now days you are seeing a lot of child abductions, basically because in my opinion the case of the missing girl Caylee.

What is glamorized in the media causes copycat behavior in vulnerable youths and adults. Advertising's annual billions of profits are based on that causal relationship. Sometimes harmful matter protects minors from material that appeals to the prurient interest, depicts or describes in a patently offensive way sexual conduct, or lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value for minors.

Both smoking and media violence (and other behaviors as well) tend to promote themselves through the media...meaning, kids (esp.) who watch these things on TV are more likely to follow these examples, than kids who do not see these behaviors. They both are either giving you a message not to do it or give you this type of idea it is ethical to do.
