Contemporary times in the corporate world are recognized by adoption of result oriented approach by an employee. It is often seen that competition amongst employees grows and they often compete to strive for rewards and recognition from the senior management of an organization by the virtue of their hard work and results which they have shown to bring in overall productivity in an organization. This hard work is a direct outcome of the effort and time they have put in for a particular project or a task. It is quite often seen that a senior managerial position requires devotion, dedication, creative thinking, and disciplined measures to give end to end shape to a particular project. This notion is often closely related to less time in hands for the other importance facets of life such as non work responsibilities and giving time to family or enjoying leisure time activities (Banister, 2004).

It is a common saying that the World never sleeps, one possible way of understanding this phrase is that an international organization is constantly receiving orders from many parts of the world irrespective of whether it is day time or night time in their respective home countries. Hence, the responsible employees need to be at their toes to take required action in order to gain the maximum out of the opportunities arising from the global customers.
