Article called “The real generation gap” mainly about knowledge between two generation which written by the M. Jennings. Generation X today’s young college students who likes to watch Madonna on MTV and Michael Jordan on ESPN. A result they grow up in different environment then older generation. Therefore, Generation X many people ask a question about how they vote on certain thing like small business bill. Many people also believe that almost twenty percent of the generation x attend churches on weekends.

Generation X academically doing poorly on state related test. Even Act and Sat test scores are declining in fewest years. Even they do get into college they have to take basic level of English and math because of their likeness. Some student even plunks the placement test at community college level. In high school even student has a perfect grade point average struggle with algebra especially percent problems.

But math is not only subject that generation x struggle with they also noticed that many student doesn’t know who wrote the Declaration of Independence even they have no clue why civil war fought. So that’s rises a question that how generation x going to find out that general George Washington built this country bar hand. We should make a special section that included biography of important people in our history so generation x has little bit understanding about history. Some histories argue that some people and text books left out the important people in America Revolution some of famous leader in war also ignored by some authors in their textbook. When author took her daughter to Boston author find out that generation x also can’t listen well because of the lack of education system.

In generation x environmental become teacher main topic for years when old times kid learn about global cooling but now days kids learn about thing called global warning. Many teacher giving too much information they handle. Therefore we wasting over children are...
