1.0 Executive Summary
Top Notch Corporation is an organization in the medical technology industry interested in
marketing a handheld prescription-writing device. This device will provide physicians and
pharmacists with a speedier method to writing and receiving patient’s prescriptions. The device is
the size of a prescription pad and is similar to an electronic tablet. Physicians will be able to
select from a list of medications, dosages, and specify the quantity to be dispensed, while digitally
signing the prescription. After signing the prescription it will be sent electronically to the
pharmacy and saved for generating renewals.
Based on the size of our market, we plan to base our sales projections for the first year on
perceived-value pricing. This pricing method will enable our company to build a loyal clientele
