Valley Stream School District
Dear sir/madam,
This report has been prepared for the Valley Stream school district and describes a strategy which outlines a nutritional diet suitable for children of all different age groups.
The report proposes an appropriate eating dietary formulation for the children recommended in the control and reduction in the occurrences of non-epidemic diseases such as diabetes, heart diseases, and obesity.
Non-epidemic diseases have been closely linked to poor nutrition. Our society today faces unique challenges especially due to the fast pace of life. Children are directly affected because of:
• Consumption of fast foods
• Lack of exercise
This report was prepared using a comprehensive review of literature and recommendations of the American Dietary Guidelines, the Food and Drugs Administration, and various scholarly journals.
I am grateful for the opportunity to develop this strategy and I am available to assist in making recommendations on the adoption of this report.
Yours Faithfully,
Nutritional Consultant
