Executive Summary
In our company, IT is a crucial component and ensuring that all of our machines are operating at their fullest capabilities is a must. This script accomplishes exactly that by contacting me, the system administrator, whenever a machine reaches a critical amount of data storage. Once a machine gets below a certain percentage of free space on the disk, I am alerted to this. This will allow us to eliminate waste on the machine and clean up the disk to create space. This will allow them to remain operational until it becomes absolutely necessary to upgrade to remain competitive. This script will help us to protect our investments, protect our company, and protect our wallet. We will be able to invest more time and money into other projects and upgrades and all in all, make our company the best it can possibly be and make the most profit we can at every opportunity.
