Another way a manager of an organization can use utilize the excel program is to track weekly sales in order to view trends and forecast future sales. This tool is helpful in order to keep labor at the desired percentage of total sales. Another way this tool is helpful is to keep the deliveries at the desired percentage of total sales. A manager of an organization can also use the excel program to create contests to boost sales and increase receipt averages. In my restaurant I have created a check average contest. This contest separates each shift due to the fact the menu prices for morning, swing and late night differ. In conclusion, there really are endless uses for the excel program in relation to managing an organization. Whether you are tracking absenteeism, or figuring out job satisfaction in relation to current pay levels, the excel program is an efficient tool that can assist a manager of a organization in creating a more efficient well-oiled machine.
