Ethics is recognizing the principles of right or wrong when leading, and conducting individuals in a business. In any company the stipulate for the company is observing the behavior of individuals toward the outside world if taken in deliberation morality as well ethically reasoning and ethic application. For example business manager’s moral viewpoints of s situation shows the affect that is has on the manager’s ethical belief. This moral principle pertains to the overall which is directing the belief system behind the individual’s perception of right or wrong. However, by investigative WorldCom organizational structure, leadership, organization behavior, and managers; my paper will show evidence of how the company‘s termination and failure could have been predicted.

WorldCom seemed to have a great story of much achievement. In 1983, partners led by former basketball coach Bernard Ebbers, rough drafted their idea for a long distance company on a napkin in a coffee shop in Hattiesburg, MS. Their company LDDS (Long Distance Discount Service) began providing service as a long distance reseller in 1984. For 15 years, it grew quickly through gaining mergers. Bernard Ebbers was selected CEO in 1985 and the company went public in August 1989. During its peak the stock reached 64.51 points. The Company was a favorite with investors and Wall Street analysts. During this time CEO Bernard Ebbers was listed by Forbes as one of the richest men in the US. Michael Jordan, the most popular athlete in the world, provided commercial endorsements. In October 1999, WorldCom attempted to purchase Sprint in a stock buyout for $129 billion in stock and debt. The deal was vetoed by the Department of Justice. At the same time, the success began to unravel with the accumulation of debt and expenses, the fall of the stock market, long distance rates, and revenue. It would take 2
