Evaluations have been developed for new employees entering the InterClean sales teams. These new evaluations shall be completed after the 90-day new employee trial period has been completed. They will also be performed semi-annually in a non-scored format and annually in a scored evaluation. The method of evaluation will be done through these annual performance appraisals and semi-annual reviews. The semi-annual reviews will let the employee know where they are and where he or she needs to go to make a strong performance review. Reviews and appraisal will let the manager and employee know where he or she stands.

The performance appraisal form was developed in conjunction with performance standards and competencies that meet company standards, and employee and client expectations. There are a total of six competencies and standards that shall be evaluated. These include critical thinking and execution, adaptability and flexibility, communications and relationship development, technical and professional knowledge, goal attainment and completion, and instructor aptitude and ability. Some of the areas that support these competencies are completion of training development plans, material retention, test results (if applicable), on-the-job performance, ability to apply practical knowledge, mentor evaluations, goal completion, and ability to instruct others on materials. The employee and the manager will assign a score of one through four to each of the six competency categories. Total scores will be calculated and reviewed by both the manager and the employee.
