2011 Workplace Ethics Survey Questionnaire Message Analysis

Wright-Hill Industries will conduct and mail out a self-administered workplace ethics survey questionnaire from February 5th through February 23th, 2011. The company believes that education is an effective tool for encouraging ethical practices in the workplace, and understands that knowledge about the ethics code allows employees to follow its road map for fair dealings. The result is public trust and confidence, which are essential to the valuable work performed by all Wright-Hill employees.

Purpose

The purpose of this questionnaire is to gain an understanding of the impact that workplace ethics has on the decisions and actions of employees and on the business success of Wright-Hill Industries as a result.

Position in the Workplace

Intended Sample

The survey will be conducted February 5th – February 23rd, 2011, among a sample of full-time Wright-Hill employees, age 18 or older.

Distribution

Executive Hill announced the Survey on February 5th via company-wide email, voicing her support and inviting participation; a reminder will follow on February 16. The survey will remain open for completion for three weeks until February 23rd. This survey will collect data regarding employee awareness of Wright-Hill Industries ethics policies and procedures already in place and about their perception of any ethical lapses or misconduct at the office. It will also reveal how often employees feel a need to report problems and what encourages or prevents them from doing so.

Incentive

All employees are asked to voluntarily participate in the survey. In return, each employee will be given a company mug and a certificate.
