2. Principles

2.1. Delivery Schedule

• Determine the work-loads (in hours) per supplier and Department and per required delivery periodicity

• Spread the work-load out consistently each day

• Define the delivery schedule: delivery day and reception times during the day

2.2. Order Schedule

• Define the delivery schedule by supplier and by Department

• Define the order schedule according to the delivery schedule and the supplier lead time = daily schedule

• Determine an Order Day per supplier common by city.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Commercial Team

• Provide up-to-date suppliers replenishment information (lead time, transportation information, etc.)

• Validate order and delivery schedule with collaboration of Order Pool.

• Follow up and take action on unreliable suppliers (deliveries not on time and/or incomplete)

3.2 Order Pool

• Define order and delivery schedule

• Validate order and delivery schedule

• Modify order and delivery schedule according to the information from Commercial Team

3.3 Receiving Team

• Determine the human structure required for operating receiving according to the delivery schedule.
