Personal and Organizational Ethics

When it come to personal ethics we each have our own set of ethics or beliefs that we live by and these views fit our life and the way we views things and situations. When it comes to organizational ethics, the organization as a whole has to work within the level of ethics set within the organization. Organizational ethics can be tricky because the organization is comprised of individuals with their own set of beliefs and disbeliefs. Therefore, when situations arise many different opinions and views on how to handle any type of situation can call for a discussion especially when the morally correct resolution or solution to the issue is not obvious. Within an organization, owners do not focus so much on beliefs and focus more on what the companies’ purpose and goals are in order to make them aware to public and employees’. When ethical issues arise, then ethics come into place and decisions must be made in a manner that is morally correct even if the decision is not what one believes in for their personal way of living. Throughout this course, many different scenarios were presented that involved personal and organizational ethics that were resolved with many different perspectives on each given scenario. I took away that in most cases people can place their views aside in order to make the best decision within an organization. This is a good start to your introductory paragraph. Be sure to give your reader an overview of what specific topics your paper will cover including the organization you will discuss.
