As we can see the board of directors includes general manager. Assistant general manager, resident manager, as for housekeeping the structure consists of director of housekeeping, assistant executive housekeeper, supervisors and guess room attendants. The 498 large rooms in the Intercontinental manage to be sober whilst remaining sophisticated, comfortable, bright and highly original. In addition to the standard rooms, there are 121 suites, three presidential suites and one royal suite.

The corporate objectives of INTERCONTETENTAL HOTEL are as follows:

1. Increase facility accommodation services.

2. Improving Increase market share.

3. The efficiency of our hotels and operating processes.

4. Provide complete satisfaction to clientele in terms of facilities and service standards.

5. Increase overall room revenue by 10% before 2011

* Increase the efficiency of the hotel and operating processes by 10% by the end of 2010.

We choose this objective because increasing the efficiency of the hotel means that the services will develop and customer service will improve as well .It’s very important to enhance services and increase the efficiency of the hotel in the present time before 2011, because the competitive market is increasing, and the hotel must compete at the same level if not higher.

We will discuss The effect of this objective on one certain department in the hotel which is housekeeping and accommodation services, INTERCONTETENTAL uses a functional structure in means of delivering their services to the public , intercontinental DFC has 9 functional departments .
