United States-Centric Views Comparison

In both tables my sister, Connie, and I were asked to place a series of terms into one column or the other; the column titles were, “Christian Americans, Both Groups, or Muslim and Arab Americans.” After having Connie fill in the table I can see that some of our answers are the same, meaning we put them under the same column, while others were not so similar. Under the Christian American Column we both though this group to be, not oppressive to woman, governed by biblical law, take part in a political environment, socially compliant, and open to both sexes. While Connie thought that Christian Americans were, good neighbors, had modest dress, peaceable, and socially inclusive; I put those traits under different columns. As Connie has shown both her and me share difference of opinion on which traits go where, we do agree on some. Connie’s chart however, appears to have more in the, “Both Groups,” column than I did.

Under both groups I states that, both were good neighbors, family oriented, devout, law abiding, peaceable, and socially inclusive. Connie in addition to what I said, stated that both groups, had woman who go to work, well educated, undereducated, religious content in education, secular content in education, conservative political values, moderate political values, and fanatically religious. There are no right and wrong answers here so I cannot say Connie wrong, but it just goes to show that Connie feels that both groups have more in common than I do. Some factors I do however feel are true, while some are completely false.

Two truthful traits, that I feel are in the correct locations, are Undereducated (Connie’s Appendix D) and Muslim and Arab American’s having their Religion as a part of Government (Both Mine and Connie’s). Connie placed the undereducated trait under both groups which...
