Applying Program Outcomes

1. Graduates will be able to identify the structure and role of delivery systems within the health care industry.

The structure and the roles of the delivery systems has strict requirements for reaching my personal plan of achievement.

Each facet of healthcare has rules and regulations monitored by the government. The proper education and knowledge of the technology is key to success for the different delivery systems.

My Plan is to become a Facility Director within the next four Years.

The Structure demands a Masters Degree or better education; Administration experience, at certain levels;

Familiarity of Billing, Coding, Medical Services, and Specified Care Services.

2. Graduates will be able to examine the components of management and leadership within health care organizations.

Management skills will always affect the quality of leadership within the healthcare industry. Good Healthcare Managers must be effective communicators, build strong teams, select proper staff, and utilize budgets. These skills are imperative for have strong leadership qualities. The basic rule of leadership is to lead by example; providing each employee with the basic tools to operate the facility properly.

I have very strong management skills. I practice the basic skills daily in my current health care administrative role.

My Strengths: Positive Manager and works well with others; Optimal Leader- I consider others, before making decisions.

My Weaknesses: rely on others to complete task with consistent monitoring

3. Graduates will be able to analyze the utilization and application of technology within a health care organization.

Understanding the scope of technology and having the ability to utilize the applications are critical within the Healthcare Industry.
