Movies; you know them, love them, and hate them. You probably have an absolute favorite movie that you will watch repeatedly and it never gets old. In addition, you have a movie that you just cannot stand to watch ever. Here is a question to think about your favorite movie and you most hated, are they original storyline movie? On the other hand, are they remakes of older movies? Could they be television shows made into movies? Today's movies industry is running out of original ideas. By that meaning, the writers are taking popular television shows from the past and adapting them to movie form. This is not a problem if was done correctly. The movies that the writers make and destroy what the shows were about, that is where personally I have a problem. That is my opinion there is more than enough reviews done on every type of movie that you would be able to make up your own mind. You would also need to be really into movies and television shows to with knowledge of the actors, storylines, and morals. Why is it that Hollywood writer’s feel the need to make remakes of movies and TV shows? These so called writers seem unable to do anything original themselves.

Ok so let us talk about original television shows that were made into movies. For the first show to talk about is The Dukes of Hazzard. This show came on the air in January 1979 and filmed in Atlanta, Covington and Conyers, Ga. besides in California. The show itself lasted for seven seasons and dozens of guest stars like The Oak Ridge Boys. The show stared Tom Wopat as Luke Duke, John Schneider as Bo Duke and Catherine Bach as Daisy Duke. This show has a take as a modern day Robin Hood feature to stop the corruption of the local government. The storyline is about Cousins Bo and Luke Duke and their car "General Lee", assisted by Cousin Daisy and Uncle Jesse (Denver Pyle), have a running battle with the authorities of Hazzard County Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) and Sheriff Coltrane (James Best), plus a string of...
