Check Point: Modern Challenges in Immigration.

My wife went through this process and it is a hassle and very time consuming. Here in Texas the offices are now in different places and you need to have patience and I hope you have a pair of comfortable sneakers because you are going to do a lot of standing.

I think that certain application they should only make a favor is that a person is in political authority or a country that is in war which people are looking for freedom from a terrible dictatorship. Why I feel this way is because not everyone wants to live in a country that is going through war and not knowing what the future is for that country. Everyone should have the rights to move here in the United States even looking for a new life and opportunity. You can have all the money or talented life style doesn’t mean you are going to be granted citizenship. The only problem is that you got to have $675 dollars just to become a U.S citizen. That a lot of money when third world countries don’t pay their employees a lot of money. My cousin just became a U.S citizen last week. You have to take a course and past a test and then the government will select a date to be sworn in. By just going to the www.uscis.gov website you can see how much it is just to get a Permanent Residence register which cost $930 dollars. This is very hard for the person who just make minimal wage. And don’t forget after 9/11 immigration laws might have gotten a little harder because now they can check a lot of information on the computer and internet.
