SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work for the project includes all planning, analysis, design, development, testing, training, deploying an implementing a new Inventory Management software. A third party -An IT consultancy firm- will provide the managerial skills & technical guidance for the Murfs & Swansor technical team responsible to execute the project. Each stage of the project will require approval from the Logistics Director & the VP for operations support before moving on to the next stage. The selected third party must ensure it has adequate resources and experience in the management of software development projects of equivalent or greater complexity.

The new system will be initially implemented, on a trial basis at the satellite warehouse of the northern areas, during the 2 months trial period the new system will run in parallel with the existing one. Once the system has proven itself and stabilized, then the main server plant will be brought online within the following 6 months. This timeline must be met to ensure our operating systems are fully supported.

The cost is not to exceed $150,000. This includes the development of the initial software application, custom code development, and training & implementation costs.

The Logistics Director will be responsible for the implementation, and will coordinate & support the contract Project Manager assigned by the selected third party to guide the project towards successful completion.
