Plagiarism by a student is not taken very lightly by me or the University. I feel plagiarism is one of the most disrespectful and dishonest act a student could commit. The act of plagiarism is just the same as the act of theft. Please think for a moment on Mr. Edgar and how he would feel about the hard work he put into his article and having it claimed by another. If it were your hard work, how would that act affect you?

As a result of your Academic Dishonesty, I will not accept this assignment and you will receive a failing grade for the course. I have also submitted my recommendation to the Dean of Students that you be placed on Academic Probation.
