Youth Services Agency of Pennsylvania specializes in helping at-risk youth. They offer in home services, short term residential, and long term residential programs. These programs help teach the youth that they can climb a ladder in life. With positive incentives they progress towards their goals. If needed there are step-downs. This is when negative behaviors occur.

In-home services include community supervision, skill training, after school, and evening reporting centers. The youth are on In-Home detention, which the youth cannot leave their home without being supervised.

Short-term residential programs are for youths that have been in trouble but not that critical. They are only residents from Friday to Sunday. They do community service and while a resident they campout in the wilderness. These gets the youth out of their environment and are taught environmental education and services.

Long term vocational life skills programs. This program is designed for youths that have been in trouble on an on going basis. The youth live in dorms and go to school right there on campus. The campus is well supervised by staff. There are programs for both male and female.
