Executive Summary

The central idea of this paper is eliminating or reducing stress. The first part of the paper describes where I am currently with my strengths and weaknesses relative to coping with stress. The paper then proceeds to discuss what I want to accomplish in the MBA program and the strategies that will be implemented. The last part of the paper describes the benefits I will gain from eliminating stress and how it will improve my life indefinitely.

Introduction

I have always believed that I had good time management skills and handled stress very well. When I started the MBA program, that belief was proven wrong. The amount of the workload was overwhelming and there was only a minuscule amount of time to complete it. The stress I was experiencing was horrible and it was due to inefficient time management. These first two weeks of this program showed me that learning how to deal with stress is crucial to success. This program is going to be an encounter unlike anything I have ever experienced. Fear is inevitable, but it will subside throughout the duration of the program. I must learn how to adapt in order to succeed.

Where I Am Currently

The strengths that I currently have will help me be successful in minimizing the stresses of this demanding program. I am very good at multi-tasking. Handling a lot of things at the same time has never been a problem for me. There will be many projects that will be due around the same time and I will be able to work on multiple parts of a project in order to finish it sooner. This will help in coping with stress because I will be able to save valuable time.

I am also very team oriented. Working in groups and developing relationships with peers has always intrigued me. My team will benefit from the enthusiasm that I bring and this will help in completing our goals in a shorter duration of time. This will aid in lowering the overall stress of my group. Staying...
