2. Appendix 7 – The bottom line in the research proposal is at the beginning in the project summary paragraph, on line 5. This is the correct location as it’s in the beginning and does not let the reader get through too many details and persuasion sentences in order to understand the request.. The bottom line is for Park District Board to commission a study for repairing drainage problems at the baseball fields of Hamlin Park. The reader of this proposal could react in a neutral way, as this is only a request to do a study on Hamlin Park. This could also have a positive reaction if the reader has also noticed the same problem at Hamlin Park.

3. Appendix 9 – The bottom is located at the end of the report in the Recommendations paragraph, starting with line 79. The purpose of the bottom line is to recommend a structured training program to be able to continue to give customer satisfaction and friendly employees. In my opinion, this would be reviewed favorably as having skilled employees leads to more sales for Becker Foods.

Chapter 7:

1. B: My work experience building large barns and houses has given me the needed experience to obtain a position in an engineering firm.

2. C: Sentences 5 and 6 should be put together in a second paragraph as they describe characteristics of the bacteria. From Sentence 12 on should also be separated into a separate paragraph. Doing so will help the writer to focus on the damages of the bacteria at the end of the study. This would give you a total of 3 paragraphs and would allow for better flow and understanding of the effects of the bacteria.

3. 2E: The first seven sentences flow well together and are focused on direct selling by mail and its successes. The last two sentences should be separated from the first seven sentences. I think this paragraph can be divided into 2 to allow the topics to be separated.

4. 3: The first paragraph would be overall dates of the cleaning and what the work would consist of....
