Abstract

This paper describes the research of misappropriation of funds within businesses. The review of the businesses is based on personal and researched experiences. The common factor of the research and experiences is trust, expenses, and illegal activity of others. There are different variables and ethical standards that are violated and damaged. Not knowing who you can trust can only be proven when the accounting book are opened for review and closed with confidence and peace of mind that all the activity is done legally and honestly. People know the difference between right and wrong but would rather have money in their pocket then be an honest citizen or coworker.
