Skills Assessment and Matrix

To be effective in any firm it is important to have skills and capabilities that will be influential in the success of the firm. This paper will discuss the collaborative efforts of the team in identifying skills that each have and those skills that need further development in proficiency in order choose a firm that will benefit from such skills. It will provide a summary of the individual skills of each team member. It will also provide a list of three consulting firms that each team member will be able use their skills and why they are appropriate for these types of firms. It will provide a statement that identifies a plan to obtain skills that are needed for success of the chosen firm.

When counseling teens who have problems with addiction there are many skills that are required to reach them on a level that they can understand and want to understand. Communication is by far the most important skill that we have to offer. If the communication is not at a certain level, it is hard to get the clients to understand where you are coming from. This all builds on gaining their trust, which is very much needed in order to give those help. The consulting firm is very strong in the area of effective communication. We are strong in listening and time management skills. These two skills are important because the better the time management skills, the more clients we can try to reach. The listening skills are essential because some of these kids need to talk.

Some of these kids have never had anyone to listen and may be the reason they turned to an addiction in the first place.
