Acountability of equipment

acountability of equpiment is one of them most important things there is in the military. if

you cant keep track of what you have then you might be missing the part that saves you life

in a life or death situation. say you go out of the wire and dont have your magaizines what

are you going to use to strike against the enemy. Another example would be what if you didn't keep

track of your E-tool and you needed to dig a fighting position, looks like your fighting without

cover. that is why you should always keep track of your equipment and not be like the national

gaurd units that left there equipment in iraq overseas, in Iraq with no one to keep account of it or

watch it for the army units that were replacing them and when the army units got there the equipment

they were expecting to have there nearly half of it was missing. It took a long time for the

goverment to replace the important stuff they were missing because of the national gaurds blunder.

so the whole time they were waiting on this valuable stuff they were not totally combat efective and

could not completly do there gob to the best of there ability.

acountability has been a problem all through out this war. look whats happening now with Iraq. We

have given them almost 2 billion dolars of equipment and have not asked any questions or told them

to keep track of it. well rackatering and stealing have caused nearly half of it to "disapear" well

now were asking them to keep track of it they cant find nearly half of it. thats nearly 1 billion

dollars of merchendise we just handed over to some theif looking to make his money rather then the

defense of there country. and probably delaying our pull out time because the iraq militia cant do

there job fully if they are not fully equiped. there has been multiple stories of accountability not

not being done causing many problems for the military look at the civil...
