Evaluation and Judgment

There are different ways we can evaluate people. We can evaluate people just by their appearance, attitude, race, ethnicity, environment, and the way they behave when we first meet them. I think your first impression makes a lot of difference when you first meet someone. I think that all of these things play a major role in how we evaluate people. To when evaluating people means to form your own opinion about the person you are evaluating. Some of us may have different opinions about what we think of others simply because they may be dressed differently than we think they should be dressed or even act or look differently than what we think they should act or look so from that we form an opinion about that person right then and there. Sometimes just because a person is from a different environment than we are from then we think they are different from us. We expect them to act differently than we do because they are simply from a different environment. So therefore we pass judgment on people and form our own opinion about people because they are different.

The factors that play a role in our expectations of other people because we expect other people to act differently or act like we act. We even expectthem to meet certain standards on how we want them to look, act, and talk. I don’t think we should be so quick to pass judgment on others based on their actions or their appearance. My opinion is that we shouldn’t expect people to meet our expectations but we do. Not everyone is going to meet our expectations of them. We have some people that do meet our expectations and then we have those that don’t meet our expectations at all. I have always been told that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Just because it don’t look good on the outside doesn’t mean that it isn’t good on the inside. So let’s not be so quick to judge other’s based on their appearance,...
