TOP 10 MUSTHAVE APPS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

Cell phone applications, better known as apps, are a readily available technology that could prove to be useful in the college life. Facebook, Words With Friends, Pandora and Flixster may be some of the more downloaded apps but there are some that can come in handy for certain lifestyles, like that of a college student.

A typical student’s schedule these days will include exams, homework, tuition and bill payments, a number of campus activities, and scrambling for food in addition to their regular everyday lives. In a time where technology makes everything convenient, college students may find that researching their time management options could make the hustle and bustle easier to handle.

Courtney Jones, senior criminal justice major, said she would use apps to help manage her day-to-day activities better. “Of course sometimes I have so much going on that I end up dropping the ball on homework which is very disappointing and totally out of character for me,” Jones said. “An app would be great to have”

The suggested apps not only add convenience when used correctly, most of them are free to download.
