What do you think of your a) Strengths and b) Weaknesses? Why?

Interpersonal skills are something essential every well-functioning human being should have. They are necessary not only for saying what we need to say but also for sharing our thoughts, feelings and behaviours with those who surround us.

I strongly believe that my areas of strengths are Communication skills, Reporting skills, and Handling Emotions and Conflicts.

Firstly, I believe that communicating correctly with people will make me shine at work and let others see how capable I am. This enables me to stand out among my colleagues and they will be able to see what I can really offer them in terms of intelligence and sociability. Since childhood, by hearing people’s conversation, I would understand the depth of the conversation, but was just reluctant to voice out opinions. Eventually after entering the work force, I have acquired greater communication skills and I’m able to join the discussion. Communication is simply a must have to lead a successful life. I can speak well and communicate with clear thoughts, it’s this one of the plus points that i have that has helped in all the interviews that I have attended. I strongly believe that by having good communication skills as it always been an added advantage to my career path.

Secondly, my strength would be Reporting skills. I am very good in analysing tasks and the different work streams in the project that I am working on now. I cannot say that I just acquired this skill, but I believe I started establishing this skill little by little. Currently with this experience i am able to provide good results in workplace with my reporting skills. I would say that I excel best in this area and that is one of the main reasons why I am working under Project Management Office (PMO) for the past 5 years.
