This assignment will be emphasized and be focused on Wal-Mart, which is the retailer giant. In the course of the research of Wal-Mart, the main emphasis will be the comparison and contrast this organization with others organization which are featured in the module questions below.

Module 1

Wal-Mart vision statement is the based on the following theme, “Wal-Mart acclaims to be the leading retailer world wide” this has though been proven true based on their popularity in the region they operates and also the profit margin and market value of this organization exceeds all its competitors. The mission component of Wal-Mart has nine components which includes; customers, products and services, concern for survival, technology, markets, profitability, Self concept and philosophy, concern for public image and for employees. However their main mission statement rallies around offering products of high quality at lower prices and striving to be the best retail industry. Wal-Mart values all key players as stakeholders; this is from the lowest scale employees to the customer and all suppliers equally.

Wal-Mart is the only organization that involves all the stakeholders when making major decisions of the organizations, these helps the organization to address all key issues and offer remedies as all stakeholders merge and provide remedies also spearheading brand championing making this retailer the most successful worldwide.
