1. What are some of the ways groups of people are identified?
There are many different ways that groups are identified. You can group individuals by cultures. This is grouping by beliefs, values, traits and religions. Every member of the group will have some of these factors in common with each other. You can group by race. This you can usually tell just by looking at the color of one’s skin, but it is not the sole qualification. There are many different races that have the same appearance as others. It basically boils down to what you genetic make-up is and where your ancestors are from. You can identify individuals by their religious group. There are many different religions in the world, and I believe that at least one person in our country practices each type of religion. This is more of a personal preference and I find it hard to be able to justify this type of identifying. I have known white Americans to practice many other religions than the ones that are native to the United States. We can also identify individuals by their gender groups.
