Team Analysis Report

Every organization encounters issues when pursuing new business ideas. CanGo is no exception. With the idea of getting into a new market that is mainly focused on online gaming; they are bound to run into obstacles. It is a matter of how well and how quickly they can overcome those obstacles that will reveal how successful the idea will become. In order to address any oppositions with this new idea, CanGo should research the market and who, as far as age group, it should target with different types of games. Researching the market, and who it will have the most effect on, will allow CanGo to focus on games that will be more profitable in the end.

Issues Recommendations

1. There is no mission or vision statement in place. 1. Establish a mission and vision statement to give the organization a sense of direction.

2. SWOT analysis has not been conducted for CanGo. 2. Conduct SWOT analysis for CanGo pointing out strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

3. There is no strategic planning. 3. Have a strategic plan in place. This includes mission and objective, environmental scan, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and evaluation and control.

4. Project Leader lacks organization which affects the timeline of the entire project and utilizes additional personnel unnecessarily.

4. Project Leader should follow the steps to meet his MBO (management by objectives) by prioritizing goals.

5. Employees lack the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively perform work duties. 5. Training should be conducted from upper management down. Management should be sent to seminars to improve leadership skills, knowledge, and how to implement programs throughout an organization.

6. CanGo, as an entire organization, does not have duties specifically assigned to individuals. 6. CanGo should develop a Gantt chart assigning individuals tasks and deadlines.
