Project Management is essential to a company. It has many different factors and responsibilities. The main purpose of project management is to initiate a goal and successfully accomplish a goal; it increases the likelihood of accomplishing that goal. Project Management provides an organization with powerful tools to improve the ability to implement, control, and plan all of its activities as well as the way it utilizes its people and resources. There are external and internal project managers. An external project example would be a new ad campaign. An internal project example would be developing a new product. If a project is handled successfully it can expand its opportunities in the future and it can have a huge impact on the organization and customer depending if the project was successful or not.

There are three project objectives and it’s called the “Triple Constraint” which includes cost, time, and performance. Each is all equally important and you can’t have one without the other. At the end of the day these are key elements for a successful project and these are the things that will determine whether you have successfully managed a project or not. It is so important to always; always be aware of cost and scheduling for a project. It can be a challenge, but it’s important to make sure the team knows the accomplishments, cost, and schedule this way everyone is on the same page.
