Abstract

Diversity is here to stay it is inevitable. Promotion of diversity is positive for customers, employees and the company. As a global phenomenon, diversity is affecting U.S companies as well as multinational companies. More and more companies are conducting business globally and making diversity a priority is of the utmost importance. Companies must provide appropriate diversity training, given that the improper diversity training programs can be extremely costly for business.

Recognizing diversity is paramount to any organization continued success in the global marker. Companies that acknowledge how valuable diversity is to their growth and includes it into their strategic plans will be able to: Recruit better talents thus putting them head in the getting better employee, increase development of new business by improving understanding of the market place and able to address a broader consumer base by reflecting on the makeup of their community.

Companies are starting to recognize the necessity and significance of diversity capitalization Diversity in the workplace creates groundbreaking thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and builds communities. These are diversity traits that companies should see that make their employees unique and yet not interfere with job performance. It should be a concept that is welcome various ways of thinking to the company and not about quotas or affirmative action. Therefore, managers and executives need to take full advantage of diversity opportunities as they arise. Diversity if manage the right way can produce significant result for a corporation. Diversity needs to be well managed, to utilize its advantages and minimized its disadvantages.
