Executive Summary

AT&T and Verizon are two major telecommunications that are currently competitors in the marketplace. AT&T offers both local and long distance telephone services, wireless, and DSL Internet access. AT&T services also include managed Web hosting, application management, security service, and U-Verse television and satellite video services are among a variety of other services that AT&T currently provides. AT&T is currently according to its public financial statements are stable in both the domestic and foreign markets. Verizon Communications Inc. operates in United States and internationally. Verizon currently offers voice, Internet access, and broadband video. It operates a FTTP network under the FiOS that offers bandwidth that is designed to handle future broadband and video applications. AT&T and Verizon are both stable and have experienced downturn financially because of the current marketplace and economy in general is going through difficult financial times in their stock prices and revenues as well as the entire industry.
