I am a final year student from Finance at xxx university. Wanting to learn more, I took two more minors in Economics and Statistics. I apply for xxx as I believe working for the prestigious firm in the industry can assure me of a bright future with my endeavour and I am eager to put my finance knowledge into real practice.

Being a follower of the philosophy of Robert Kiyosaki, I believe salesmanship is an essential skill for thriving in the business world. Therefore, I took an unorthodox step among my peers and joined xxx as a financial planner. My job is to sell suitable products to improve one's finance, such as various funds and insurance. Therefore, I am knowledgeable in funds. Being a Financial Planner in xxx is extremely stressful as both the leader and clients give tough challenges. The leader pushes everyone to meet their target, while the clients give various objections not to buy the products and I have to handle the fast-changing situations quickly all the time. Since the income is unstable, every agent must go through a lot of ups and downs. In order to be a good agent, I was trained to have the tough mindset of a professional athlete to handle the negativity in my mind. Gradually, I have acquired a positive thinking to recover from disappointments swiftly. I am grateful for the experience as it has toughened me and readied me for any challenges in life. Besides, as I have to meet with clients all the time, the job has fine-tuned my interpersonal skills to build a strong trust for my clients faster.

In July, four friends and I founded an e-magazine, xxx. We aim to turn it into a 'Bloomberg Businessweek' for students.
