1. Introduction

Like a loyal horse stand by the knight on a long way, Honda’s motorbikes have become reliable friends of Vietnamese riders over the last 13 years. Honda Vietnam, with the honor of Honda, brings to Vietnam variety of motorbike products along with the demand of a developing society. Honda Vietnam is considered as the primary on the motorbike market in Vietnam, with 75 percent of the market share. Along with the rapidly expansion of Vietnamese society in recent years, Honda Vietnam retains its leading position by launching Air Blade in April 2007, with the differentiation in designs, hybrid technology, and fuel saving at a competitive price level. Air Blade known as the key to help Vietnamese motorbike market explode to another stage of scooters.

2. Company analysis

2.1. Mission statement Since the first day of establishment (1996), Honda Vietnam (HVN) has defined that the development of the company should be always attached with the community benefits. For 13 years of growing up in Vietnam, HVN has been trying their best for the “Vietnamese happiness and safety” with the desire to be a “good corporate citizen of the country‖. With the desire and dynamic as mentioned, Honda develop many products and services in line with their overall mission. They have been striving for supplying Vietnamese customers with qualified, fashionable and affordable products to exceed customers’ satisfaction, taking ―contributions to development of Vietnamese industry‖ through technology transfer, localization, export, job creation and training for labor force. Besides, they aggressively participate in social activities, such as safety driving instruction to build up a healthy traffic society and support to Vietnam’s development of education, culture, sport etc., and charitable activities as well.
